It is unbelievable that the President’s staff stand idly by while the GOP seizes the news cycle – permanently. The Left’s attempt to drag the Administration into the Cuomo delirium proves to the public that the undefined “wokeness” is now the new Dem ideology. That alone is worth 6 House seats lost in the 2022 elections.
Add to that the ridiculous paralysis at the border. Factually, 99% of the border applicants are ineligible for Section 208 asylum. They are economic refugees. Why not just close the border pending the establishment of refugee processing centers in Mexico or Central America. Limited numbers of children could still be admitted without overwhelming CBP resources. The Left will scream, but they are living in an “open borders ” fairyland anyhow.
The public impression now is that the floodgates are about to open, with thousands (millions on Fox) scattering with their COVID to every state, affecting our July 4th Reopening. The perceived Administration confusion and incompetence will cost another 20 House seats, plus the Senate.
