Today marks the official launching of this measly blog. Today is, furthermore, the official end of the Republican Party, as we have known it. That Representative Paul Ryan continues to ride the Donald Trump coat-tails, regardless of his rationalizations to the contrary, indicates that the new economic plan, presented Monday by the latter and touted by the former, is nothing but a hollow sham. Surely, the Speaker must realize by now that a President Trump would not guarantee an effort to formalize any elements of The Plan. Rather than receiving guidance from the GOP leadership, a President Trump would more than likely heed the advice of his closest (Russian) advisers. That this critical fact is not acknowledged by the Speaker, his claim that “the GOP nominee must be supported at all costs” is nothing more than a sophomoric charade, suitable only for Fox and their Fools.
