So Trump has confirmed that a thousand a day is not enough. Let’s go for 3,000. It would be easy for Trump to hold a joint presser with Joe Biden and announce a nation-wide mask effort, but that’s not in his playbook.
Let’s review Trump’s playbook: First, Trump views Putin as the putative chairman of a board of international gangsters. Second, Trump wishes to become one of those board members, and eventually challenge Putin for the chair. Third, in order to become a member of the board, it is necessary to obtain complete oligarchical control within the U.S. Fourth, this effort requires the complete dismantling of our legal and governmental institutions, with the result being complete personal loyalty to Trump. Fifth, Trump requires the assistance of one final institution, to wit, the U.S. Senate.
Enter Moscow Mitch, who actually believes that his support of the Trump agenda maintains the institutional integrity of the Senate. Not recognizing Trump’s goal to disband the Senate, the Majority Leader is complicit in the Trump-managed suffering and death in our country. Neither Trump nor McConnell realize that they are legally charged with the knowledge of the crimes confirmed at Nuremburg. Do we realize what must be done in these next several years? Does Joe Biden?
