The pace of GOP nazification increased today in the House impeachment hearings. Not since Hitler’s rise to control Germany’s governmental apparatus in 1933 has one party submitted itself to a demagogue so rapidly.. Thankfully, Trump does not possess the mental capacity to manage the emerging enterprise. Which brings us this question: Who, in fact, is the competent dictator waiting in the wings?
