Time to Call Trump’s Bluff
It’s a long time to November. The GOP strategy to rile the base against Manchin, et. al., will be lost in the dust soon enough. It would be disastrous to Dem morale if the leadership folds. Just as with Hitler, you don’t appease Trump. There are enough bad news days for Trump on the immediate horizon. And actually, Dem leadership should both put a target on Paul Ryan’s back and charge Devin Nunes with obstruction of justice.
