It seems obvious by now that Trump is too ignorant to understand how Putin, Ji and Little Kim are playing him like a cheap fiddle. At least he is off the hook for treason, as that crime requires a specific intent that Trump’s muddled brain is incapable of forming.
What remains to be determined is what damage Trump can inflict upon our system of representative government, let alone a majority of our citizens. If he possessed even an ounce of self respect, he would resign immediately. Just the fact that honorable civil servants (nay national heroes) such as Rod Rosenstein and Andrew McCabe must even DISCUSS options to address Trump’s insanity is sufficient reason in itself for the President’s resignation.
Senator Graham insists upon a hearing. BRING IT ON! The entire nation deserves to judge for themselves whether Rosenstein and McCabe were acting logically, legally and responsibly. I bet that 60 to 70% will so decide, which brings us to Trump. When will he realize that an insanity defense will be his only alternative to jail?
Previously, this writer believed that “moderates” like Harris and Booker could save Trump via a political deal. Already it is too late. This new generation of Dems will demand a term of incarceration for the incompetent and inept Hitler-wanna-be. Regardless of this writer’s hope for a Kobuchar-Brown ticket, the die is cast. And this die includes Trump Jr., Hannity, Limbaugh and Nunes. Prepare your Nuremburg defense.
