HRC Seals the Deal
Okay, summer’s over. Time to wrap this baby up. Tonight, The Donald will try to end-run the issues by popping a surprise – probably by pulling a letter out of his pocket alleging that his IRS audit issue has been fixed. HRC should be ready for that, probably with something new about The Donald’s Russian connections.
HRC, on the other hand, will firm up and ENERGIZE her liberal base with a detailed policy call-to-action. The GOP post-debate spinsters will emphasize The Donald’s honesty, while HRC’s ground machine will quickly and quietly mobilize their millennial early votes. This leaves open the question as to how HRC’s spin-meisters will cover The Donald’s “new honesty”, as her mobilization efforts won’t show up in the polls for several days. ADVICE: Let the media scrutinize The Donald’s “new honesty” (which will become transparent by itself). Instead, continue to emphasize the positive direction and policy aspects of the DNC platform and leave the dirty business to The Donald and the media.
